RBG Guidelines: Basic Game Rules
This section of the guidelines emphasizes on the basic rules during a game. As you all know, this is a shooting game. When you get shot, then you are dead. Plain and simple. However, it is still neccessary to emphasize on the conditions of getting hit. What are the parameters of "life" and "death" in this game and how would you know whether you are in or out of the game?

What do you do when you have been shot or “killed.”?
This section of the guidelines emphasizes on the basic rules during a game. As you all know, this is a shooting game. When you get shot, then you are dead. Plain and simple. However, it is still neccessary to emphasize on the conditions of getting hit. What are the parameters of "life" and "death" in this game and how would you know whether you are in or out of the game?
Counted hits:
- One shot, One kill: There are no "Health Bars" in this game. It only takes one shot to kill or be killed. It also does not matter how or where you were shot. Whether it be a fatal or negligable part of your body when compared to "real life".
- If the BB strikes any part of your BDU/uniform: Even if it’s just a scrape on loose clothing, you are still considered “dead”.
- No “Armored” features allowed: Even if you are wearing real Kevlar helmets or vests. As long as a bb strikes any part of you. Then you are considered dead and must exit the war zone.
- Doubtful hits: If you are not sure if you were shot directly or just felt a ricochet. Then it is best to call yourself out as to eliminate any speculations that might arise from the incident.
- Courtesy Elimination: There are cases wherein the OPFOR would not shoot you anymore because of the short distance between each other to avoid hurting you. This is considered a Courtesy Elimination. Technically you are still allowed to shoot or hide from them again but it is still best if you just call yourself out.
NOTE: When attempting this gesture. Make sure that the target was close enough for that he is unable to escape yet was far enough for you not to be able to execute a knifekill. - Knifekills: A knifekill is wherein a player tags you and whispers "knifekill".
NOTE: When attempting knifekills, make sure you have physical contact over the OPFOR and the words "knifekill" must be announced to each and every OPFOR you tap.. - If and when you shout "hit": Whether it was a mistake or not. As long as you shouted "hit." Then you are immedietely considered dead.
- Friendly-Fire: Bullets do not distinguish friend from foe. You are still considered dead even if your own team mate hits you unintentionaly.
Non-Counted hits:
- Gun hits: You do not die if your gun is hit. Just shout "Gun-hit" to inform the OPFOR you were not tagged on the body so as to reduce speculations.
- Ricochets: A bb hitting you AFTER it has bounced from somewhere is is not considered a hit.
- Falling or Artillery BB's: This is similar to ricochets only that these came directly above and has lost momentum.
What do you do when you have been shot or “killed.”?
- You are to stop firing immediately and shout “hit”. Raise your hands or weapon to give visual confirmation that you are out of the game. Proceed to the resting area or safe-zone.
- Do not tell-tale: Dead men do not talk. You are not allowed to inform your “live” team mates of the OPFOR’s location even if they ask you.
- Do not linger: Lingering in the battlefield after you have been shot disrupts other players as you might get in the way of their target sights. If you dropped an item. Immediately retrieve it and head back to the safe-zone.
- Do not remove your mask: while still inside the war zone. The risk of being shot again after you have died is still high.
- Non-combatants should not disrupt the ongoing game: Such as coaching or flashing the hidden players during night games. As long as you are in the safe-zone, you are considered as non-combatants.
